Trick-or-Treat

First stop of the day was Papa Murphy's. Alexis trick-or-treated for that little pizza & Daddy bought a jack-o-lantern pizza for our lunch- a Jolley family Halloween tradition.

Off to the Supermall for some real trick-or-treating.

Penguins!

Yesterday, we went to the zoo. The animals seemed to be much more active than in the past. Maybe they were trying to keep warm...it was really, really cold yesterday. But don't the penguins like it cold?? We had the zoo almost all to ourselves- it was pretty neat!

How to carve a pumpkin

Step 1: Clean out the guts.
Step 2: Cut out a perfect face, or just make sure Daddy is doing it right.

(Notice the nice sticker and coloring artwork on the table. How do kids get tables confused for paper?!?)

Step 3: Admire your masterpiece(s)!

Playing at the park

We walked to the park behind our house this weekend. This is not something that we do too often. The park seems to attract trouble makers, so we only head over there when no one else is there and Daddy can come along (to scare off the bad guys).

Sami walked the whole way by herself. By the time Sam arrived on the playground, Alexis had already climbed all the way up to the big slide.

Pretty in the park

This morning we headed to the park. The trees in the park are so beautiful right now. We just walked around, checked out some bushes and played with leaves. It was a really fun (and pretty) fall day!

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend, we all headed out to "The Farm" to pick out our pumpkins. First stop was the trout pond. I'm not sure who had more fun- Alexis or Daddy.After a few failed attempts this summer with her pink Barbie fishing pole, Alexis finally caught her first fish!

Gearing up for Halloween

Last Monday, we went to the Supermall and decorated pumpkins with Siah & Kaitlynn. They had pumpkins and all the decorating supplies.

Alexis and Siah did their pumpkins all by themselves! They are growing up. We handed them the glue and they pasted on the decorations that they picked out.

Samantha and Kaitlynn really enjoyed trying to eat the glue and decorations.

Sami is going to be Flounder for Halloween (Alexis is going to be Ariel). They don't sell Flounder costumes at the store, so it required Mommy to be very crafty. Here she is modeling.
