Start of Summer Fun

To start off our Memorial Day weekend and to kick-off our summer, we played with our cousins Joel & Zoey on Friday.

Poor Sam...seems like she is always stuck in her exer-saucer. Once she stops eating grass, she'll be allowed down to play with the other kids.

And poor daddy...he worked on our solar system while we all got to play outside.

On Saturday, Grandma & Grandpa King came over for a bbq at our house. Here is Alexis showing off her jumping skills.

Sunday, we had dinner with Linda before she headed home to Jamaica. Lately playtime consists of Alexis wrestling Sam- she better watch out, soon Sam is going to be able to fight back.

Monday, we set up our new pool and hung out in the backyard. The best part of our own backyard pool? Skinny dipping is acceptable.

Happy Mother's Day

This is a little old but better late than never.

The day before mother's day, we met Uncle Jeff to La Connor to have dinner with Grandma Kris to celebrate. Grandma took some great pictures.

We also wanted to say... Thank you so much to all the helpers when we were camping. The camping trip would not have been as much fun for mom & dad without all of the help!

Sun Lakes 2009

This past weekend we took the girls camping at Sun Lakes in Eastern Washington. My dad has taken me there since I was a kid. Here are some highlights.

Look at all the fish Alexis caught! Just kidding, she's checking out a fellow fisher's haul. She does not sit still long enough to have a chance of catching anything.

Look close...the roll of TP is down the hall in the bathroom and a huge wad of it is in the living room. Alexis was frustrated because she couldn't get it to tear. I went to help Sam with something and realized Alexis and the TP were back in the bathroom. All of it ended up being flushed down the toilet. We had a big clog!!!

Does this make my head look big?

Alexis finally got a helmet to go with her trike. Here she is riding circles in our house, maneuvering through the obstacle course- when she first started to walk she would walk circles, now she rides. Do you hear Sam in the background? She has started to talk!

Alexis thinks it is pretty funny to run over Sam with her trike. The trike is going to permanent time-out if she keeps it up.

BFFs

Alexis & Bailey have been inseparable lately. Alexis cried for almost an hour when Bailey was picked up the other day before we left on our camping trip- "Wawey back!" This may be why Bailey likes Alexis so much...
